The Diplomatic Society of Saint Gabriel (DSSG) is a Catholic professional and fraternal society of current and former diplomats, consular officials, foreign affairs professionals, international Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) officials, academics, and international business people dedicated to advancing global peace, economic development, fostering civil society, religious rights and humanitarianism. The Society is a US-based non-profit organization founded in 1996 at the United Nations in New York. The Society is currently recognized by the United Nations and UN agencies, the World Trade Organization, the World Council of Churches and other international organizations. the Diplomatic Society of St. Gabriel in service to the Church and humanity. Since the Society’s founding two decades ago, we have endeavored to foster the fraternal networks, spiritual development, and friendship of Catholic ambassadors, consular and foreign affairs professionals from different nations and cultures. As many of us serve our governments or enterprises far from our native lands, the Society has served as a spiritual anchor, bringing together professionals who share a common faith and experience common challenges. to help us in our pursuit of strengthening these informal networks of Catholic foreign affairs professionals. if youre interested in the Diplomatic Society and/or you’ve sent some or all of the supporting materials for your candidacy. Upon receiving your updated form, review and approval and recommendation of the Board of Trustees granting you membership; you will be asked to submit annual dues and a membership packet and accompanying materials (DSSG medal, diploma and lapel pin) will be sent to you at the address you’ve provided on the form.
